Alpha

Alpha is a ten-week Course that explores life, spirituality, and the Christian faith in a fun and nonjudgmental environment. Whether you're just checking it out, new to faith, exploring spirituality, or want to make new friends, you are invited. Each night begins with a homemade meal, followed by a video and open discussion. Childcare is provided.

Our next Alpha Course starts in January. Be on the lookout for information on registration opening up in December.

F.A.Q

  • Alpha usually lasts 11 weeks with a Day Away in the middle. Sometimes, we shorten the course to fit within the semester calendar.

  • An Alpha session lasts for two hours. You come for a meal, watch a short video, and share your thoughts on the talk with your small group, whom you will meet at the first session.

During the discussion portion of the session, you can ask your small group any questions you want. Your session host will ensure the discussion ends on time.

  • Absolutely not. At Alpha we accept people no matter where they are. We would love for everyone to be comfortable sharing but never ask anyone to do something they’re no comfortable with.

  • Most people come to Alpha without knowing anybody else on the course. By the end of the course, most people become good friends. Alpha is a great way to meet new people!

  • Of course! We would ask that you still register for the course so we can better plan the evening.

  • It doesn't matter if you missed the first week of Alpha - you can catch up. Anyone is able to register until week 3; after that, we would encourage you to check back on this website and sign up for our next Alpha course, and start from week 1.

“Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”
