Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry brings comfort, prayer, and hope to those facing difficult seasons of life. Through handmade prayer shawls, this ministry offers a tangible reminder of God’s love and the care of our parish community to individuals in hospice, intensive care, neonatal units, homeless shelters, and beyond.

Members gather monthly to knit, crochet, pray, and fellowship together while creating shawls for those in need. Throughout the year, the group also prepares completed shawls for distribution by adding prayer cards and arranging blessings before they are delivered.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM at St. Pat’s Downtown in the Rempe Building, Room 106. All are welcome, whether you are experienced in knitting or crocheting or simply interested in supporting the ministry.
